About the Event
As the name suggests, TOMfoolery brings a lighthearted and welcoming atmosphere; perfect for freshmen and students who may not yet be deeply familiar with modern technology. But don’t be fooled by the playful name :) The challenges participants will tackle are rooted in real-world issues, focusing on topics that impact both our local campus ecosystem and the broader regional environment.
Collaborative Spirit
Team up with brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds in teams of two to six members. Collaborate, learn, and create projects that are supported and go beyond the hackathon.
Innovation & Creativity
Blend the boundaries between management and technology to create solutions that matter. Tackle challenges rooted in real issues impacting our region and turn your ideas into meaningful innovation.
Rewards & Prizes
Compete for prizes, mentorship opportunities, and potential funding for your innovative projects. Build your network step by step, connecting with students from different majors and who share your passion for innovation.

Opening Ceremony
Wednesday November 26th, 18:00 o'clock
Check-in, team formation, and opening ceremony with keynote speakers.
Hacking Begins
Wednesday November 26th, 20:30 o'clock
Teams start building their projects with mentors available for guidance.
Final Stretch
Friday November 28th, 16:00 o'clock
City Tour to Experimenta and IPAI to take your mind off the hacking for a bit!
Project Submissions & Presentations
Saturday November 29th, 9:00 o'clock
Final submissions and project presentations to the preliminary panel of judges.
Final Presentations
Saturday November 29th, 12:00 o'clock
Top 15 teams will present their projects to the judges.
Awards Ceremony
Saturday November 29th, 14:00 o'clock
Celebration of winners and closing remarks.

Who can participate?
All TUM students, including bachelor and master students of CIT and SOM. Teams can have 2-6 members.
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop, chargers, any hardware you want to use, and enthusiasm! We'll provide food, drinks, and internet.
Is there a registration fee?
No, registration is completely free, just make sure to fill out the registration form before the event so we have a good idea of how many people are attending.
What technologies can we use?
Any technology! Web, mobile, AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR - bring your favorite tools and frameworks.
